After the success of Chandrayaan 3… ISRO Chief Somnath gave great news

Mumbai: ISRO’s third moon mission Chandrayaan-3 created history by successfully landing on the south pole of the moon four months ago. After this, Chandrayaan-3’s Pragyan Rover walked on the surface of the Moon for 14 days and collected a lot of information about which the world did not know before. Now, after the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, ISRO Chief S Somnath has given great news by saying that ISRO has a roadmap till 2047 completely ready.

Addressing the TechFest at IIT Bombay, ISRO Chairman S Somnath said, “…after the success of Chandrayaan-3, there is a huge demand for what next for ISRO in the coming 25 years. We have a “There is a roadmap. We have a plan up to 2047… We can build a space station, we can send humans to the Moon, and we can create Moon-based economic activity in space.”

Months after the success of Chandrayaan-3, Somnath had said earlier this month that the space agency would send an Indian astronaut to the Moon in the early 2040s.ISRO is also working on the Gaganyaan project, under which the space agency will send three humans into a 400 km orbit and land them in the ocean and bring them back safely to Earth. This mission is expected to launch in 2025.

Earlier this month, Somnath also said the space agency has decided to indigenously develop the Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) for human spaceflight missions after failing to get them from other countries .He had said that we have no experience in developing environmental control life support systems. We were only designing rockets and satellites. We thought that this knowledge would come from other countries, but unfortunately, after so much discussion, no one is willing to give it to us. Somnath said, “ISRO has now decided to develop ECLSS indigenously. We are going to develop it in India using the knowledge that we have and the industries that we have.
