BJP released the first list of candidates; On the other hand pressure increased on Congress

New Delhi: BJP on Saturday released its first list of 195 candidates for the next Lok Sabha elections. It is believed from this list that the pressure on the opposition parties has increased. This is being considered a big message especially for the opposition alliance INDIA and the main opposition party Congress. BJP announced the names of candidates for more than 35 percent of its seats before the implementation of the election code of conduct. The party has tried to give a clear message to the opposition that it is fully prepared for the elections. She is not only claiming victory, but has also sounded the trumpet of election preparations by announcing the candidates.

The pressure on the opposition to release the list has increased
It is believed that due to this, the pressure has not only increased on the opposition to finalize the seat sharing in the alliance as soon as possible and announce the seats. Congress has aligned itself with Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh and AAP in five states. The coordination between RJD in Bihar, MVA in Maharashtra, with JMM and other parties in Jharkhand and with TMC in West Bengal is yet to be finalized. This pressure seems to be increasing on Congress, because in the states where it has coordinated with Samajwadi Party and AAP, Congress has not announced candidature on even a single seat. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh has announced its candidates in states like Delhi, Haryana and Gujarat as per AAP coordination. Congress has not been able to clear the picture regarding the candidates on three seats in Delhi and 17 seats in Uttar Pradesh.

The first meeting of the Congress Election Committee may be held next week
This is also an indication for the Congress that if it does not speed up the coordination work in the other states, then things may go off track. Congress will have to speed up this work and finalize the names of its candidates. BJP announced 195 names after holding its first Central Election Committee meeting. On the other hand, the first Central Election Committee meeting of Congress has not been held. Earlier this meeting was to be held this week, but it was postponed. According to sources, the list of candidates to join the committee could not be finalized. The party’s manifesto committee meeting is to be held on Monday. It is being said that the first meeting of the Central Election Committee may be held in the next week.
