GST is a weapon to kill the poor and make way for Adani: Rahul Gandhi

Ahmedabad:  Friday was the second day of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Gujarat.  He started his journey from Dahod on Friday.  His Nyaya Yatra left Dahod and reached Sant Road, where a large number of supporters welcomed him. Addressing the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi said, I spoke to thousands of people during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Everyone has said that India is a country of brotherhood, not of hatred. Like BJP, we work to unite and not to break by spreading hatred. During my travels I visited many states. In every state the youth told me that they are not getting employment. Rahul Gandhi further said, today only 3-4 big industrialists in the country are getting benefits. Small traders are being eliminated. A small businessman says that GST is a weapon to kill us and make way for Adani. Today Adani is found in every sector.

Army’s money is also going to Adani
Rahul Gandhi targeted the central government regarding Agniveer scheme. He said, Agniveer Yojana is not being liked by any youth. Earlier the money used to go to the army to serve the country. The same money is now going to Adani. Today there are two types of martyrs. One is martyred in the army and the other is Agniveer who is martyred after losing his job after 4 years, becoming unemployed. Through Agniveer Yojana, the path of youth joining the army has been closed. This is spreading further unemployment.

Loans of industrialists were waived off, but not of farmers.
90 percent people in the country work honestly, but today they have no stake. Today 30 lakh government jobs are vacant. If our government comes, we will give you government job. We provide job guarantee for one year in private and government jobs to youth who have completed college. We will stop incidents of paper leaks. Whoever is accused in this work, we will take strict action. We will open the doors of the bank for the poor person. Modi waived off Rs 16 lakh of billionaires, but the loans of poor farmers were not waived off. We will create a fund of Rs 5 thousand crore for the youth of the country and help them for start-ups. After the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi will also hold a padyatra in Dahod and Halol town. Rahul Gandhi will be welcomed at many places here. Rahul Gandhi will also talk to people in street meetings in Godhra and Halol.
