New Delhi: Samajwadi Party has suffered a big setback in Uttar Pradesh. Former MP Devendra Yadav, who was once close to former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh, has said bye to SP and joined hands with BJP. Yadav has accepted the membership of the party at the BJP office in Lucknow. Earlier, Samajwadi Party had given a shock to BJP by fielding its candidate from Shakya Samaj, which is considered a traditional vote of BJP. After this, BJP has made the battle of Etah interesting by including influential leader of Yadav community Devendra Yadav in the party, making a dent in the traditional Yadav vote bank of Samajwadi Party.
