It is important to take special care while playing with colors

Mumbai: Many people cannot tolerate the chemical colors available in the market on Holi. These colors harm the skin. Especially people with sensitive skin have more problems. In such times, it is important to take special care while playing with colors. In fact, often the chemicals present in colors can cause problems like rashes and irritation on the skin. A little carelessness on your part can spoil your face. Special care is needed at such times.

Since Holi is on 25th March, people are going to play colors with enthusiasm. Therefore try to play chemical free and safe Holi. For this, use home made colors instead of market colors. This will not cause any harm to your skin, hair and eyes. There will be no harm to health also. People with sensitive skin should avoid chemical colors and use natural colors as much as possible. Hydrate your skin before playing Holi. Hydrate your skin with a cream recommended by your doctor the night before Holi. Then don’t forget to apply sunscreen on your face as soon as you wake up in the morning. With its help your skin will be protected from the effects of ultraviolet rays and harmful colors. Therefore, hydrate the skin before applying color. Before playing Holi colors, after applying sunscreen on your face, apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly on your face. Apply olive and coconut oil on it. Before playing with colour, apply oil to your hair thoroughly. Take special care of your hair, so that it does not harm your health.

If you have too much color on your face, do not rub it. Therefore, first of all wash your face with face wash. Then clean the skin with a good cleanser. After this, make a paste by mixing gram flour, turmeric, rice flour, rose water and a little coconut oil. Apply this paste on the face. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Then clean the face by massaging with light hands. After removing color from the face, apply moisturizer on the face. If you are troubled by rashes then you can apply fresh aloe vera gel.

After Holi, avoid using any kind of chemical make-up product on the face for two to three days. Don’t use facials or treatments like bleach.
