Chiranjeevi’s name included in the Guinness Book of World Records

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. He has been honoured with the award of the most successful star of the Indian film industry. This award was given to him by none other than Bollywood star Aamir Khan. He has done more than 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs of 156 films in a career spanning 45 years. This day is also important for him because on this day the South star started his film career in the year 1978.

Sharing photos from the event, Chiranjeevi’s daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela wrote, “Congratulations to my Mama Megastar Chiranjeevi garu for achieving the Guinness World Record as the most prolific movie star in Indian cinema with 156 movies in 45 years and over 24,000 dance moves and 537 songs!”

Speaking about Chiranjeevi, Aamir Khan said, ‘It is a pleasure and honor for me to be here. I am happy to see the fans of Chiranjeevi Garu and thank you all for including me among you as I am also a big fan of his. ‘Chiranjeevi was last seen in Bhola Shankar in 2023. His next release is a fantasy action film named Vishwambhara which will release in theaters on January 10, 2025. Chiranjeevi started his film career with the film Pundahirallu in the year 1979. However, the film Mana Voori Pandavulu directed by Bapu was his first release. After this, ‘Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya’ came in the year 1982 which proved to be a big hit. With this film, he started doing lead roles.
